Short application description: The model 8500 is a single channel ultrasonic inline analyzer, for accurate concentration measurement of aqueous solutions in many industries. Previous and actual versions: | 8000 | Introduced 1991 | Call us for trade-in credit | | 8100 | Introduced 1995 | Call us for trade-in credit | | 8500 | Single insertion probe | one controller, max. one sensor | | 8520 | Dual insertion probe | one controller, max. two sensors | | 8550 | For Full-Bore, Zero Intrusion Flow-Through sensor systems | one controller, for obstructionless measurement |
Introduction: The RHOSONICS Model 8500 is the newest and most powerful instrument to measure the composition of aqeuous solutions. Thanks to the innovative electronics and sensor design, continuous in-line monitoring of diluted solutions is now possible with an extreme accuracy, virtually no maintenance and without moving or degrading parts. Model 8500 operates with the UMP series of probes, available with several process connections and materials such as 316L, Hastelloy and PEEK. Applications in the main production process: The Model 8500 process analyzer is specifically dedicated for inline measurement of aqueous solutions (like acids, bases), chemicals, and hydrocarbons, where the main purpose is to measure the concentration of one component in the solution or emulsion. Applications in the utilities around the main production process: This model is used in the utilities around the process, for example: - Spill analyser, for the continuous detection of product spills in water. This analyzer instanly responds detects spills of beer, yeast, extract, sugar, and fat.
- CODeq analyser in sewage
- WWTP sludge analyser: MLSS, RASSS, WASSS and de-watered sludge
- WWTP FeCL2 and methanol (or extra food) dosing
Applications for environmetal protection: - chemical spill analyser in river by ships
- leakages from factories into surface water
