Rhosonics Model 9680 is intended for measuring the sludge blanket level and suspended solids profile throughout the height of a settling tank.

Employing a proprietary Ultrasonic technology, this ruggedised mud diver provides measurements of mud levels, settling zones and overflow clarity in thickeners/clarifiers and washers / decanters.

• Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) from 0 to saturation*
• Total Suspended Solids (TSS) from 0 to 30 wt%*
• Total Density in SG from <1 to 1.8

Tank profiling (Suspended solids versus depth) is also provided in combination with the use of special automated systems, for repeated diving. Process engineers armed with this kind of data can attack process optimization of flocculation and underflow density control head-on. Rather than needing to compromise low-end clarity measurement accuracy with high-end heavy mud rangeability, Rhosonics introduced the Model 9680, offering a clarity and a heavy mud probe in the one device.
