Short application information:

The series 8550 Single channel transmission analyser is used as a process analyser in chemical and electronics industry and in many applications in the utilities of Food&Beverage industry. The configuration is as follows: One controller and one extractive sensor for monitoring the process outside the process in a flow-trough chamber. The sample is pumped to the analyser cabinet, conditioned and then measured.
The sample cell can be temperature controlled.

In addition to all the possible applications for the 8500, this configuration enable conditioning of the sensor, so measuring at higher temperatures, for determination of hydraulic oil in water, water in hydraulic oil, or very low concentrations of organic carbons, like sugar, lactose, TOCeq, CODeq.
