Sulphuric acid and copper sulphate

This is a ternary application for the determination of the concentration of H2SO4 and CuSO4. During the process of copper plating we have a solution of 25% copper sulphate and 20% acid. The copper is removed by the bath, which causes the sulphuric acid concentration to increase. To get both concentrations on the desired level, copper oxide is added, which causes sulphuric acid to react to copper sulphate. With a conductivity and a ultrasonic sensor Rhosonic can determine both chemicals real time with the highest accuracy possible and maintenance free.

Solutions of acids and salts are always measured with the 9570 analyser.
