Styrene Butadiene Rubber

The Rhsonocis 9620 Slurry analyser in combination with the MCS-FTS series is ideally suited for emulsion polymerization processes, such as butadiene slurries.
Due to the shape of the transducers, no material adheres to the surface of the sensors so that the emulsion is able to flow freely through the flow-through section with its integral sensors. The material of the sensors is chemically resistant and does not need replacement or recalibration. Due to the unique construction of the sensors, there is no drift in signal response, so therefore this inline measurement system is virtually maintenance free.
Both sound velocity and attenuation vary during the polymerization process. Both parameters are measured and used to monitor the process.
