Rhosonics Model 9660 is the most versatile instrument to measure suspensions and slurries available on the market. Employing a triple hybrid ultrasonic sensor technology, the Model 9760 measures all essential information of your slurry or emulsion, including TDS, TSS, density and the temperature.
Rhosonics’ Model 9660 provides the following process data in typical applications: 

• Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) from 0 to 50 wt%*
• Total Suspended Solids (TSS) from 0 to 20 wt%*
• Total Density in SGx1000 units from <1000 to 1800
• Emulsion concentration*
• Temperature
   (*) Depending and to be specified upon diameter and slurry/emulsion type

The sensor is supplied as a flow-through sensor, available in diameters ranging from 1 to 4 inch. For larger diameters and high to very high density slurries, refer to Model 9670 and 9690 for more details. The robust design of the sensor is realized through special sensor elements, using steel or an abrasive resistant buffer material, which are integrated in the flow-through cell providing a full-bore, zero-intrusive sensing system. The maximum pressure rating is 40 bars. The maximum temperature rating is 90 °C for standard sensors and 150 °C sensors are available as an option.

The Rhosonics Ultrasonic Flow-Through Cells (UFTC) is available as seamless spool piece for flammable chemicals requiring PED level 2 or 3 certification. For other, non flammable liquids, Ultrasonic Wafer Sensors (UWS) are available, with a pressure port as option.The Model 9660 controller unit makes all measured values available on either analog outputs (2x), Ethernet 10-base and through local and remotely accessible log files. Profibus DP is optionally available.
